I am really looking forward to attending the NABE Conference next week in Denver (Feb 3-6, 2010). The conference theme is “Nurturing Communities for a Better World.” This theme ties in with our mission at Kids Immersion, LLC. We develop quality resources and conduct business with integrity as we work to build communities. Language is designed for communication; communication is the fabric of relationships; building relationships leads to building community.

I look forward to learning about the latest research in language learning and hearing how bilingual education is being promoted across the nation. Most of all, I am excited to meet many new colleagues in the field of language education!
