Looking for a calm, low-prep Spanish activity for Halloween week? We made you a set of free Spanish Halloween coloring pages. Print them, pass out the crayons, and let your learners chat about costumes in Spanish while they color.

What’s inside

Five printable pages, sized for standard letter paper:

• Pedro el pez dressed as a shark (un tiburón), with a pumpkin full of candy
• María la mona dressed as a princess (una princesa), with her own candy basket
• A bonus fall page with Ofelia and César jumping in a pile of leaves (las hojas)

Each costume page comes in two versions, ¡Dulce o truco! and ¡Truco o trato!, so you can pick the “trick or treat” phrase you prefer.

Make it a Spanish moment

Coloring time is a perfect chance for a little low-pressure Spanish:

1. Name the colors. Ask ¿De qué color es? as learners work, and name each color in Spanish as it goes on the page.
2. Talk costumes. Point and ask, “Is Pedro un tiburón? Is María una princesa?”
3. Say the phrase. Practice ¡Dulce o truco! together before you hang the finished pages up.
