• Students will be able to discuss the importance in Hispanic cultures of working together as a family.
• Students will be able to identify household chores and discuss ways they help in the home using appropriate vocabulary.
• Students will be able to identify the tradition of making tamales at Christmas time and contrast that tradition to their own family cooking traditions.
• Students will be able to write about what they hope they will do when they grow older.
