Description

The Level C – Classroom Visuals offer high-quality, supplemental material to accompany Level C of the Calico Spanish curriculum. The Calico Spanish curriculum includes digital, printable copies of all the resources, but the Visuals Packs offer physical copies of the comic readers, posters, and flashcards that are handy to have in the classroom and at home.

The Level C – Classroom Visuals include:

• 6 posters (measuring 11″ by 17″)

The Aventuras de la vida Comic Reader features eight comics that invites learners along as the Calico characters go about their everyday adventures, both at home and in various spots around their community, including restaurants, parks, and festivals.

• Perfect fit for Spanish learners performing consistently at the Novice Low proficiency level and the Novice Mid proficiency level
• Helps your learners put the material they see and hear in the other parts of the lessons into a new context
• Broadens learners’ understanding of the language and teaches them how to use it in more situations

The Level C poster set is a visual reinforcement to help your learners put the words and phrases they see and hear in the lessons into context to and associate them with their Spanish spellings. The poster set includes:

• Six original posters related to each lesson to reinforce content
• Spanish words and phrases with related images to help learners improve comprehension

The Level C flashcard set helps reinforce the language that is introduced and learned in every lesson. The flashcard set includes:

• 166 original flashcards related to the Level C content
• Flashcards include words, phrases and concepts in Spanish with related images
• Each card has the corresponding English translation on the back
